- Did not be renew his licence in February 2008. Training in N Yorks. at the time and had a licence for 16 years and then aged 44. Down to around 12 horses and few winners in recent years. Taking up a position with Aiden O'Brien. From Wexford originally and knew O'Brien then and the families knew each other. Asked to start by April 2008 at Ballydoyle at the latest but needed to sell his 18 stable premises first. Won the Brocklesby in the 90s with Bandon Castle.
- Back in Britain in 2010 and first, return, 2yo runner in mid July.
