- George Scott. Gained his full licence in later 2015 and the youngest trainer at that time at 26yo. Officially training from the Saffron Stables in Newmarket and with 25 horses in training when he started with his own licence.
- Family background in racing including a great-grandfather who trained in Newmarket. Began working in racing at Paul Nicholl's yard and then did a single sales season working for bloodstock agents. After that went to Michael Bell as a Pupil Assistant before working in the US from 2012.
- Returned to Newmarket in later 2014 having been offered the role as Assistant to Jane Cecil at Warren Place after she decided to take over the licence after Henry Cecil died in 2014. Mrs Cecil announced in August 2015 that she would be handing in her training licence and Warren Place would be sold. Mr Scott took the opportunity to start his own training stables and taking with him a number of horses, staff and owners from the former Cecil set-up.
