Made ok price at the Tattersalls part 2 sales.
Reviewed at the sales and rated 70. Small and heavily built. He was compact
and deep and lacked some athleticism but his strength and maturity would
allow him to be competitive in early sprints while lacking scope to develop.
By a third season sire that made a good start with 2yos in 2003. He had
less runners in 2004 but still produced a solid number of winners. He can
get early 5f winners although his 2004 record was different with no 5f
winner although he had early placed runners.
Dam has a mixed pedigree and ran in Japan, as have her previous foals.
Trainer does not target strong debuts and has made a slow start to the
season. There were signs he was starting to run his better types with four
fillies running three days ago and one 'accidental' debut win.
The trainer has run a range of types in this race in the last three seasons.
He runs two today and this probably the first string on jockeys.
In summary a positive story to be an earlyish sprint winner rating 70+.
Trainer starting to run his better types but still unlikely to be ready
to win on debut despite the FTO win three days ago. One to watch for promise

4/1 on debut in a market with no strong previous form and three newcomers
from bigger stables at similar prices. Broke ok and 1L off the leader at
halfway but driven on the uphill climb to the straight and lose ground
and just plugged on in the straight although the jockey did not press him
there. Estimate [43]
Steps up to 6f after a less than sparkling debut and not showing much zip
or promise. Trainer's runners tend to show their form STO but tend to show

11/2 at Doncaster in a race where the field split and the first hree home
raced far side. Race stands' side and within a neck of the leader there
at halfway but 2L down on the far side. Plugged on in that group to fifth.
