May 28th: Musselburgh 5f Seller	Resold for a lowish price at the Tattersalls Ireland sales after making a poor price first sale. Veteran sire has all speed pedigree and although underused has managed to build a career out of producing competitive sprint 2yos. Most winners he gets win at 5f only and they can win early in the season. Sire has only had one runner in 2005 who is also in this seller having shown no form. Dam has produced 3 minor sprint 2yo winners. First runner of the season for a trainer with a moderate record with 2yos. He has not had the early debuts of the recent seasons. June 10th: Catterick 5f Novice	12/1 7th favourite at Edinburgh. Broke a little slowly and lost 2L and more than 4L off a solid pace early on.. Progressed at halfway and kept on well to lead inside the final furlong and win slightly comfortably. Estimate [60] Gave his trainer his first debut winner at Edinburgh. His debut runs, often earlier in the season, tend to be poor and prominent runs are a good sign of a better class runner. Looked a small, compact and ready 2yo and slightly bigger than One Trick Pony. Won comfotably but will need to show a better break on this fast track. Top weight in this low level race. Profile [67]
