Made a middling price at the Goffs sales.
Sire has a very good record with 2yos and ok for producing 6f and precocious
runners. Three of his previous runners in 2005 have already won over 5f,
one on debut and the other STO. Another has put up a very strong debut
over 6f and won STO over 5f.
Dam only ran once and has produced only two runners from four previous
foals. The best runner was a full brother who won over 5f on his September
debut for B Hills and showed useful form.
Trainer does not target strong debuts and FTO wins are rare. He has had
one win and three places from 29 debuts in 2005. The debut win was at 20/1
in a race where the odds-on favourite 'failed'.
He runs two in the race with STO Observatory Star ridden by J Egan and
W Supple on this one.
In summary a good 2yo pedigree and a good sign he runs now given the dam's
record. If he has ability it ought to be at least an average debut by the
