Made a lowish price at the Tattersalls Ireland sales.
Second season sire made average start with 2yos in 2004. The earliest debuts
over 5f tended to be limited types. He got 5-6f winners although the better
types won from mid-season.
He has had one good 5f winner and a debut 6f win from 6 runners in 2005.
Dam a very poor runner and has produced nothing of any note with two prvious
foals.
Trainer in his second season training after return from Hong Kong. Previously
had a very good record with 2yos and notable for having runners fit and
competent on debut.
As he did in 2004 he had three early debut runners in April and has then
had a break and this is the third debut since that early start. The first
3 days ago won a weak Leicester auction race at odds-on and the second
unplaced in a weak Folkestone race yesterday.. The debuts in 2004 in this
second batch were mostly winners during the season but most placed in better
races on debut.
In summary a moderate pedigree and sales price and unlikely to be a better
type. This is a weak race for the course but still not likely to be good
