Moderate sales price for TO2.
By First Season Sire who made later season 7f debut as a 2yo and won up
to 12f later. Mixed results at sales and a number of his yearlings looked
neat, sprint types despite his own record.
Dam had a mixed pedigree and has produced runners needing 7f+ to show their
best form so far (to sprint sires).
Trainer does not normally target debut wins and most FTO runs are well
below final rating.
However, note that in 2003 with a new batch of cheap 2yos he did get some
ready to place on debut but went back to his normal easier debut runs in
2004. Watch for any change in 2005.
In summary a pedigree that says she'll need further and uncompetitive here

Looked small and lightly built and not a 5f runner. Likely to be a moderate

Trainer runs two here and both look moderate as have all his 2yo runners

33/1. Ground was soft at Goodwod and she was able to use her experience
to assist with setting a solid pace for the conditions. Led 2f out and
faded from 1f from home to fifth as some of the better fillies kept on
past her. Inclined to view that her prominent run shows that the overall
level of form was moderate rather than she improved greatly. Although worth
