Made lowish price at Tattersalls part 2 sales. Penalised 3lb for his sales
price in this Auction race.
Reviewed at the sales and small with medium build. Lengthy for his size
and shortish. Seen as being capable of competing in this type of race early
in the season if he developed well.
Second season sire made a good start with his 2yos in 2004 getting 5 individual
winners from only 9 runners. These were not high quality but a good record
nonetheless.
Sire got precocious runners and early 5f winners. Has had four runners
in 2005 who have shown moderate form
Dam has a mixed pedigree and showed best form at a moderate level over
12f.
Trainer has good record with 2yos given the sales prices. 2yos are assessed
at home before they run. Most 2yos develop from debut to reach best on
3TO. However, the earliest debuts each season tend to be competitive and
a shorter SP is significant.
Trainer has run three moderate 2yos so far and all have run similar debuts
getting a little behind at halfway and plugging on. One of these runners
has won STO.
In summary likely to be competitive in this type of race in early season
