Made a lowish price at the Tattersalls Part sales. The trainer raced the
first foal.
Sire has good record with relatively few UK runners. He had a mixed pedigree
but gets winners at 5f, including early season and ok quality. For e.g.
Siena Gold in 2004. He has had five poor to moderate runners here so far
in 2005.
Dam made her debut on October 8th of her 3yo season and showed poor placed
form.
Second runner of the the season for a younger trainer with a growing stable
size. This is a late start for him and he has not run a better type yet.
His strategy is to to identify the early and natural 2yo types and prepare
them to win on debut or STO. The better types will be stepped up to Conditions+
races. A number of the poor runners and 2yo types will run past 3TO.
Identifies those with natural ability and these will debut early and should
place FTO with the better types competitive for a win on debut. He is a
very good example of a 'Show or nothing' (SON) trainer whereby if his runners
do not place on debut they aren't very good and unlikely to win at 2yo.
Shorter FTO SPs early in season (March to May) are good sign of better
runners which he has identified at home.
He has had two poor debuts so far. If this one has any ability he will
show prominently FTO. Profile [54 + 6 = 60]

Ran only 2 days ago over 6f in a muddling race. Opened 33/1 and in a little
to 25/1. The first 6 home finished in a heap with the first 2 going 2L
clear in 1.5f out and then coming back to the pluggin on four in the last
half furlong.
