June 6th: Pontefract 6f Fillies' Auction	Made a good price at the Goffs Sale in Ireland. Sire has a stout pedigree and made his name over middle distances as an older horse. He won over 7f at 2yo. He has a below average record with 2yos and gets rare 6f winners and his record is better for 7f+ from June onwards. Dam unraced at 2yo won over 7-10f at 3yo. Her best winners have been useful and won at 7-12f and better at 3yo. Major trainer does not target strong debuts and only the very best win FTO. He has had a slightly slow start to 2005 with only four winners to date. He has lacked the better quality earlier runners of the last three seasons. He has had 1 debut win and 3 places from 15 runners to date. In 2003-4 he introduced 23 2yos in June with 3 FTO wins and a number of above average 2yos were beaten and the debut winners were superior. They were a range of types from Group winners down to moderate maidens. In summary looks a development pedigree better for 7f.
