June 7th: Salisbury
6f Auction |
Made a middling price at the Doncaster St Leger sales.
Reviewed at the sales rated 69 and an above average chance of being a 2yo
winner at his level. Average size and just above average build. In proportions
and deep in front and a typical neat type of the sire. Rating seen as an
'at best'.
By First Season Sire who made later season 7f debut as a 2yo and won up
to 12f later. Mixed results at sales and a number of his yearlings looked
neat, sprint types despite his own record.
Sire has had four poor runners so far over 6f.
Dam unraced as have two of her three foals. The other ran unplaced in Italy.
Trainer does not target FTO wins although runners are usually competent
on debut and make the first 6 places in appropriate races.
The earliest debuts in the season tend to be the 2yos winners (of varying
ability) for the stable during the season.
His first three debuts in 2005 were uncompetitive. The latest was a good
second in a similar quality race and received market support.
In summary ought to make a competitive 2yos rated in the 60s but unlikely
to be the better type that can compete to win FTO. Profile [56 + 4 =
60]
