  • Made a middling price at the Doncaster St Leger sales.
  • Sire has reasonable record with 2yos although signs of it slightly declining after a very good start. Can produce early 5f winners but as a general rule they tend to develop and win from May onwards. 
  • Sire has had two good 5f winners in 2005.
  • Dam was a useful 6f 2yo winner who developed further over 8f at 3yo. She has a mostly disappointing stud career with two minor winners who have needed 8f+.
  • Younger trainer has varied his approach with 2yos 2002-4 and seemed to have settled for later season debuts and targeting STO runs for wins (unless useful+ Like Johnny Jumpup in 2004). 
  • He has run 5 already this season with the first an accidental winner of a weak race where the pacemakers folded. THe four debuts since have been more typical.
  • This one was entered in early April but did not run because of the softer going. Makes a later debut on faster ground. Interesting to see how well forward she is on debut given the later start.  Profile [58]

    5f Group 2 Fillies'
  • 11/1 at Nottingham in a race run on rain softened ground. Ran slightly freely and set average pace for the first half of the race. A neack clear at halfway and 2L clear 1f out. Kept on well as the second was eased to win by 5L. Estimate [77]
  • Late debut probably meant she was readier than a normal trainer FTO runner. The form of that run let down by the second who hung badly again and finished unplaced as favourite two days ago. Moderate improvement.  Profile [84]
