6f Maiden Fillies' |
Made a good price at the Keeneland September sales.
First season sire made good impression at sales and yearlings sold well.
He won over 7f at 2yo but reverted to a top class sprinter at 3yo.
His early runners over 5f have competed just averagely well with places
but no wins. He has had two recent wins with debut runners over 6f and
one STO win.
Dam has US pedigree and well related but unplaced herself. She has produced
two US winners.
Trainer has made a late start this season. Identifies those 2yos with natural
ability and these will debut early and should place FTO with the better
types competitive for a win on debut. He is a very good example of a 'Show
or nothing' (SON) trainer whereby if his runners do not place on debut
they aren't very good and unlikely to win at 2yo.
The four debuts to date have all been uncompetitive at longer SPs with
one winning a seller 3TO and another 2nd STOin a poor to moderate AW race.
In summary has a good profile and could be the better type the trainer
gets FTO wins with. Profile [68]
