SUMMARY

2Firm ground and a solid pace. Six Diamonds dropping back to 5f after pressing the useful colt Below Zero over 5.7f here LTO & fading inside the last furlong. Strongly built & set a good pace here after crossing over to the far rail early. Respond well to late race challenge from Victorian Art having already broken Pinnacle Lad. Strongly built & seems able to develop further.
VArt run much better after not handling bend well in tough race at Wolverhampton & then appearing not to stay 6f at Redcar. Held out of leading line early & 1.5L back at Hf. Progress to challenge, the bigger, SD inside the final furlong but always held.
Pinnacle Lad short, lengthy & very fit. Has not progressed and not finish this race off having been allowed to lead last twice. Held behind SD after leading early & not seem to respond well to this and fade to last 1f. Lightly made & no scope to develop.
French Connexion a bogus 3rd having been flat out all the way & 6th at Hf 6L back. Got to 3rd late as newcomers & PLad expire. Poor type.
Hints of promise from both Filwa & Aintwogrand despite poor rating. Filwa lose 2L+ at start but able to male forward move against pace after f to get to 4th & another effort 2f out. Faded late. Low level form but check NTO.
Aintwogrand lose 3L+ at start then run freely. Able to get back to 5th at Hf at 5L. Outpaced as 2f efforts go but closing back to PL & Filwa inside last 1f. Ran into back of the pair & not switch. Could have been 3rd.
