2Leaders form group on stands' rail and only change of relaive positions as faders from this group drop back to finish mixed with outpaced and green pluggers on. Winner & placed horses in 1st 4 at halfway and draw clear of mixed set last 1.5f. HNAW break well and veer over to stands' rail. Initially held off it as CFlyer press on up it but HNAW run free and force to lead and over to rail. Set even and usable pace that spread field out and dropped the weaker horses. Race time just ok and the proximity of a limited horse like Tillys Tale suggests it is not strong form as such. But, the first three are average maiden winners or better and worth following. The 4th in Sheka lost ground at the start and got involved which could be read as a good effort, especially for a trainer FTO 2yo. But getting past TTale isn't much and an eyecatcher to watch get beaten NTO rather than support. Some interest in SMajority as a development handicapper. Can Whipper Love really bethat bad? He got unbalanced and ran with his head up again when pressed and lost ground. Perhaps not a fade as such but out of control or brathing problems. |
