2Field raced centre track. Average pace with 1st 9 at halfway within 3L of lead. Green Polebrook in last at 5.5L. Lady Springbank made a good debut at Newcastle when running on the wrong side. Sat 6th at Hf at 2L. Good progress against the leading colts as 2F out efforts started. Led by 1.5f out and keep on well. Looks a real enthusiast. Good size, neatly made & an athletic mover. Ought to develop well & one to follow. TITTM a bigger gallopr & outpaced by LS but keep responding having been a neck off the lead in 3rd at Hf. Has not been suited by 5f & looks type to improve for 7f now he settles a bit better. Diman Waters a similar type but less athletic. Outpaced more when efforts went & not readh as well as TITTM in front. Another suited to less of a speed test but lask of range may limit. Col Mak smaller & had advantage of easy lead & faded. Not strong form & may not develop from this. Check NTO. Dazeen no progress this time against horses who were not fading. Brisbane still mentally immature & backs off from competing. Dropped Jk TP spooking at rails & jockey's attitude said that this type of behaviour was usual for him. Hooded in stalls, not go forward early on. Some response then probably packed it in. Tamanaco small & faded out of leading 3 at Hf when other pair placed. Suspect debut form moderate? Check that race. |
