SUMMARY

2Course favours prominent run styles. 1st 6 through halfway within 2L of lead and spread across track. The first three home in 3 of 1st 4 at Hf within a length of lead. Only the tiny & limited Chifah fade out. 4 horses adrift before 2F gone and only CCoch fade badly enough to get into them. Stiff pace and Fibresand characteristics spread field out in ability order for most part.
The one caveat is that the bias towards running in centre to far side up the straight is REAL at most meetings and in effectfor this race. This is often reported as a 'Low Draw' bias but the effect more subtle than that. The stalls are pushed in from the outside so that Stall 1 in a 6 runner race starts is in a different place from an 11 runner race for eg. Also, some jockeys will cross from high draws to race centre field at least. Masked Dance never got away from Stands' rail Side and at a disadvantage. The other five horses in first 6 drawn 1-5 with MDance in 11. KATG also race more towards Cent-Stds than others & worth some rating upgrade.
Moderate form with LMellor the 4th winner form the Leicester maiden he made his debut in (+ one Sh Hd second). He attended the pace well there but faded badly & kept on well here. Only KATG of minor interest.
