3 on STO in 1st 3 places after 1F. Pace just average though with True Red having an unpressed lead with CBanana & MDaisy held up - both went too quick FTO. 1st 8 though halfway form group there. True Red increase pace a little to last 2F. CPrincess & Mrs Puff both fade soon after with Channon pair replacing them in that leading group of 6. That group of six stalled as a set inside the final furlong with CBanana outlasting True Red without looking useful. The three in 9th-11th at halfway closed into the stalled rails horses to various degrees. Avonvalley was 8 lengths back at halfway and came with a clear run down the centre to close into 3rd. Crown was on the rail and had to switch to centre track before being able to go forward. The overall form is low (barely OR60s in the full view) and the limited Dolly Will Do also closed up in mid-track on the leading group. Culhane rode the winner rather than either of the Channon pair. |
