SUMMARY

2Pace appeared average at best early and Final Ovation a comfortable lead on stands' rail. Whole field within around 3 lengths at halfway. FOvation made effort after halfway with race taking shape. Some outpaced, some making places & race start early enough for stalling to set in before the finish. Several lower drawn horses slow starts allowing higher drawn Miccolo, MCall & Reignier to stack up off leader from rail with modest early efforts.
Reignier made debut at time when stable start usable 2yos but not ready to win. Showed pace FTO but faded on sticky going. Stable's first STO winner of year 4 days before. This one supported in AM to confirm overall view of him as STO improver Attended pace 4th & took time to get past FOvation but going away at finish. OR80? early sprinter. Prob not high clas but Novice type.
FOvation had best trip & ran ok but prob not improve much. Others behind prob beat him in future.
M Brillet ok type & ran wide after slow start. Progress 7th->3rd by 1F out then stall. Ok promise.
CRaider 1st 2yo of year for M Dods. Early runners are the smaller, neat, OR70ish 2yo winners. Can win FTO on preparation. Slow start & progress 9->4th. Not look hard pressed & green. Worried by experience? Can improve off solid promise for better nous.
Miccolo again fade after god early position. Hints of promise from Rightcar but trainer poor record with 2yos & on long losing run with all runners.
