Fast Conditions on day with a Strong Wind as a half tailwind in the straight and presumably a full tailwind on the 7f chute. Course record for 7f beaten earlier on the day but OR106 rated 3yo running 81.93s and carrying 8lbs less than this winner.
Fastest 2yo time since 2003 was Elusive Pimpernel in an exceptionally good Acomb Stakes (with a relay of high class horses setting an ideal pace) in 2009. That went in 82.45s and the next best was Vital Equine (winning a transferred Group 2) in 83.29s.
