SUMMARY

Typical Dettori pacemaking on Terdaad. Do enough to get to the lead then slow up and stack the field up before the bend. He seems to have an aura which means once to the lead no-one will nip past him while he is messing about with the pace. His mount here talked up as superior before debut and backed like a certainty here. Had the race go his own way but Aciano only a neck behind at halfway and able to match his effort in the straight. Wore the favourite down late and no excuses for Terdaad with the pair clear.
