SUMMARY
£10k Bonus Race. Medium to Stiff Easterly Wind = Direct Tailwind.

Going Stick reading from 08:00am.

Dream Scenario ran a time 0.03s faster than the later males' Conditions race and carrying only 4lbs less than that winner. Seemed very promising on debut given the hanging and seemed to finish with a solid group. Appeared to confirm that promise fully here with a fluent win. Trainer has had 3 x fillies win and this one perhaps the best unless Mayfield Girl can improve a little which seems likely. Ought to be competitive to win at Novice level and ok for up to average fillies' conditions.

Therapeutic another competitive one for the sire and new trainer and probably low OR70s. Worth noting that the race she was 4th in on debut also produced the runner up in the Conditions race but that one recording a slightly lower Estimate. But, that race has now produced a good subsequent win by the runner-up and two solid runs by some type of OR70s by the 3rd-4th here. Those in 5th-6th have been beaten at Ayr since but in strongish races and looked OR60s level. You start to wonder whether Reckless Abandon is somewhere close to the quality of Xtension for trainer Cox. Is he an each-way price for the Coventry?

A believable cast of usual 'character' behind the first two. Boxing Shadows a typical neat smaller sprinter for trainer Smart and runs a bit too freely. Would have been running in the Conditions race if he were OR80+ you would think. Seemed no real excuse here and fit him into the quality gradient by finishing position.

Trainer Pears usually gets competitive debuts with his usable 2yos and he seems to particularly target Beverley for some reason. Which means a strong debut effort by Confidential Creek entirely to be expeced. Has the pedigree to be an early 2yo and ran competently from a good draw. Perhaps not much improvement from this ready debut though.

Ouzinkie looked promising on debut although that run was over-rated. He seems to have declined to get involved in two races since and more diffidence here and just going along at his own pace and not picking up. You wonder how long it will be before they drop him to a claimer or seller. Would keeping him into nurseries mean they thought they knew how to 'fix' him.

A Gap behind the unwilling Ouzinkie and the initial reaction might be that there was just Garbage behind. But, another of those large fields at the Course where if you the examine the 'Ruck' closely you can start to convince yourself there might be usable ones. But, the same niggle comes back as to what they actually achieved despite their problems and running a competent race still would not make then able to compete to win at some level. The first example begs the question of what 'Why They Ran Badly' notes to the stewards by connections are for? Some jockeys and trainers are always reported things, even minor. Nothing reported by Tussie M's jockey here but he lost his irons when the horse banged the stalls breaking left-handed. TM lost ground while he was sorting things out and then had to make an effor tto get to 8th at halfway. Plugged on to a remote 6th but give her the distance lost at the start back and she would be ahed of Ouzinkie. Where's the WTRB report, son? But, interested in her NTO? Perhaps not she seems to plug on rather than producing efforts and see how she develops.

Probably more interest as a value STO type in Monsieur Royale who is related to winning sprint sibling. He wasn't that far behind TM having been led TP, got well behind from a very wide draw and then been a tour of the whole course before getting up to 7th. Over to the rail early then get unbalanced and end up wobbling about in centre track before going back to the rail to plug on past the Garbage. One to check STO.

Some similar elements with Tumblewind who ran green and got unbalanced at times. Another with winning sprint 2yo siblings, at a low level, so did she show enough to be interested at a low level. See how she goes STO since the trainer doesn't get wins before 3TO with that type.

What about Vino Collapso? Slow start and got well behind but then plugging on ok inside the last 2f before getting crunched on the rail. Better than the result reads but does that amount to enough to be interested? Given's season winners used to show a lot of the ability FTO but he does get the odd ones who develop from 'Ruck' debuts now. Another worth a check STO if he ends up in a weak race.
