SUMMARY

GS as it had been two days prior. Going Stick reading from 06:30am. Stalls Stands' Side.

Light Westerly Wind = Half Headwind from the Left.

Stiff Pace set by BOBoy running too freely. Going like most pacy horse until 1.5Fout and still leading towards last 0.5f despite stalling and hanging left. Winner Tharawal Lady the only horse able to follow pace he set reasonably comfortably but not making ground on him until the hanging began and just plugged on to inherit the lead. MNAire outpaced in first half of race and got back to a never threatening 3rd by sticking at it. Has run prominently previously but unable to here rather than being held up. IHonest sitting 2L off lead at halfway and beaten 2L+ by TL and only 1.5L bhd her at Hf. Lost ground at 2F out then plugging on again late. ML attended early pace ok on rail but then losing ground from just after halfway and not responding to the driving. Low weighted smaller fillies in LB & MTA unable to go the pace without being forced to maked efforts before halfway so not even able to plug on late.
