Going Stick reading from 06:45am Medium Southerly Wind = Crosswind From Left. Poor race on Profile and open to a ready newcomer which is what trainer Coakley often delivers. Coakley interviewed after the race and his usual downbeat and monosyllabic self. Started by saying the race wasn't much good and hopefully he can win another race with Alcando "sometime". Asked how he managed to 'buy an Alhaarth' (Hammondspeak) so cheap he said that it was because Alcando was small. But he added he was well put together and straightforward. Review showed Alcando to have developed ok from his negative yearling picture. Put on some weight and in excellent condition here. |
