SUMMARY

SHV from GGS two days prior. 17mm of rain on Saturday and 2.5mm overnight. Heavy rain forecast from mid-Morning before racing. Going Stick Reading From 06:30am.

Strong Southerly Wind = almost a Direct Headwind.

Testing conditions and a Stiff Pace for them set by the first three pressing on and running too freely to varying extens and held by their jockeys. Khefyn & Coulourist able to sit behind the pressing three and travel ok and finish the race off to some extent. Khefyn able to produce an ok finish but still produce a Slow Time and extended distances due to the testing conditions and over-racing by others. Golac niggled then driven along by halfway and looking unenthusiastic as usual. Other pair got behind on Centre to Stands side with just looking too slow to got he pace comfortably. Frosted Off a slightly slow start & looking a little unwilling in a first time hood and niggled along at points and just a brief effort before fading.
