Soft as it had been two Days Prior. 5mm of rain overnight. Going Stick reading from = 08:30am.

Back to using the 6f long Outside Home Straight Strip after two using the 5f inner, old NH, straight.

Stiff Southerly Wind = Half Headwind from Left in Home Straight.

Slow Time and a Slow pace with a lot of pulling behind. Despite that the testing conditions meant half the field gone before 1F out. Mix of Halfway positions at finish partly due to final efforts starting just inside 3F out to balance out Slow Pace early. But, Precision Strike perhaps just better held up and in 'top' form given trainer had his first two juvenile winners of season on day and both with horses on later outings.
