Rail out by 11yds at 6f pole narrowing down to 6yds at the Finishing Line.

19DegC. Stiff SW Wind = Half Headwind from Right HS, 3/4 up to Intersection.

Oriel making very hard work of beating 4 fillies of sim OR66-74 range with big gaps back to two small ones and the flawed Roman Royal (headgear and own hander & Blanket FTO if medium). Moore riding and perhaps a real change as Hughes knows he hasn't got the best out of her. Moore having to work very hard on Oriel who got a low break out wide then needed her mind made up for her the whole race and moore happy to oblige incl a lot of whip. Racing wide of okish fillies running the rail and more prof so reasonable effort to win but has OR85 and only showing OR80s form here and clearly needs to improve her att to show the "Black Type" potential Herbert was waffling on about pre-race.

No VT of York maiden Trinity River ran in STO so couldn't check what happened there & why no progress from a competent debut. But another Kubler 2yo running ok & seems trainer to up in estimation a bit. 4 runners so far in 2012, 1 x STO & 1 x 3TO winner, TRiver placed on 2 of 3 runs and Shock only run once.
