GGF from G on Decs. GStick 08:30. Stalls Centre. 22DegC. Medium to Light NE Wind = just under 1/2 Tailwind from Left. Harris jks = MorrisL (DPerier, outpcd 6f LTO) & Drowne (TPark) Trigger Park small & SCp on brz VT. Looks Yng & undev if not plain Toy. Definitely not the sort of bigger galloper that might start at 8f. Looking at Harris' record and he has only started having 8f debuts in last 2 seasons. All have been well beaten. Look at his overall record and he has never had a 2yo win further than 6f in line with his sprint oriented stables. Two cheap B-Up purchases from 'Ready to Run' oriented sales both running over 8f for him here, one that got outpaced FTO over 6f. Almost screams two duff ones just running at a 'Local' track in the only maidens available to get another run nearer basement handicapping (perhaps back at sprint distances over the winter?). Varian in 213 says El Najmm a smaller and neat one by Sea The Stars. Then starts adding in the 'good goer' type positives to balance it since -ves ar not allowed to stand alone. Ij just one trnr would ever say "this thing is useless, god knows how I can get a win out of it..". This the 9th runner fro Sea The Stars & 3rd at 8f after one unusual erl one over 6f (ran poorly & not seen since) and 5 at 7f. 3 x FTO places and the first two 7f debuts won either STO or 3TO and now running in Nurseries off OR78 & 82. Varian's record suggests late Aug the final period of possible usable ones before a long tail of devt types and sole runs (with the odd (delayed FTO) winner one mixed in). This his first 8f debut of season but behind on total runners so far and very low on winners. Early debut suggests a usable sub-75 one most likely. |
