Race sponsored by Koukash for his Salford Rugby League team's foundation. News of Rangi Chase being transferred from Castleford to "an un-named club" announced on Cas website day before this race. Rangi Chase, the horse, owned by Koukash, & presumably named some time ago (?) knowing he had the signature in-the-bag. Breeze VT looks Ok despite the low £12k tag. Seems taller one, if poss a bit Nrw (diff to judge with aspect ratio messed up). Races with his head held high and doen't nod much. In line with that he doesn't reach much in Fr. But, he runs at an ok pace and dead straight. Also finishes breeze off. Is he starting at 8f here because he is a one-paced slogger? Or because Koukash had to run 'something' in it?

FentonM rides Empress Ali for his App days boss Tate rather than Asteroidea for Pam Sly. Fenton rode that one's dam to 1,000 Guineas success & has ridden the previous offspring. Empress Ali's brz shows her to be a small & compact one typ of HRE. Green and offering to HgR for most of brz and never gets going. A bit disorg in gallop towards the end.
