GGF from GFF on Decs and G the previous Day's Meeting. 21mm of rain Fri. 4-5mm of rain forecast for the day starting in late am. GStick 09:00am. Far Rail Out by "approx 4yds from 5f to just after the 3f marker". Says no Effect on Race Distance = But having seen the races the Previous day that is just nonsense and there ought to be some censure from the BHA, rail is Well out for a Long way around a bend and at the Cutaway inside the 3F marker it is at it's widest and a clear visual demonstration that it cannot be the same Race Distance as usual. 14DegC. Strong SW Wind, gusts of 40-50mph forecast for Central England as the Storm moves through. = Half Headwind from Left. Miss Atomic Bomb does a mixed message Brz. On the plus side looks a Bulky barrel on short legs of Sire Type. Also finishes the Brz off ok. On the slight negative side the Gallop doesn't look fully organised and correctly timed. Something not quite matching F to B. Also hangs right last 1F when put under pressure. This whole effect not helped by her holding what is left of her Tail up although only minor flashes. Price perhaps reflect the mixed messages, better than a basement price in line with her bulk but not going that far up given the slightly 'visually ugly' sides to her on the move. Sutton Sioux small, Cp & MY in her Brz. Doesn't reach at all and tiring last 0.5f. Some bulk +ve but looks SzLmtd. Thundering Cloud did her Breeze at DBU ten places after Sutton Sioux. Looks a bit bulkier than SSioux there but also Cp and a bit SzLmtd. Looks mentally more mature but that doesn't show up in Brz where she looks like she is learning as she goes and has never been going that fast. Odd hints of tail flashing. Loose looking ground again not helping Inx horses. Prob just prefer here & cost £4k more. |
