17DegC. Medium to Light WSW Wind = 1/2+ Headwind from Right BS, 1/2+ Tailwind from Left HS. Not clear from watching the Brz VT just why Mizzeni cost £50k. Prob an OkSz and build if a bit raw. Tries to run too free at times and HgR a bit in last 1f as get Unbal. You would presume he did a fast time but he doesn't finish the final 1f off. £50k a premium end price for that 'Ready to Run' sale and something should show up visibly on VT? What is he doing running FTO over 8.6f in later Sept when he was at a 'Point & Shoot' Sale? Post Race = after the laughable performance by Mizzeni, Green and still pulling too much bhd slow pace and then getting adrift erl in HS, decided to have a look at the GFK runners so far. The Sale saw 89 Horses offered of which 63 were sold (26 retained in some form = 29% of horses not 'shifted'). So far 54 of the 83 have run at 2yo (61%). In summary :- * Ave Price = £23,841, Median = £20,000, Highest = £70,000 * Runs = 209 by 54 Horses * 29 wins by 19 Horses with 8 multiple winners * Total of WBR = 19/54 = 35% which is about average. * Winners to Lots Offered = 21% (1 in 5 chance of buying a 2yo winner, that didn't make the sales Splash) * SR = 14%, ROI on 1pt LS on all 209 runs = -0.20 = 20% loss on Bets. |
