15DegC. Light to Medium ESE Wind = 1/4 Headwind from Right HS. Interesting 'Market' with Lawyer at 11/10 and best of rest 7/1 and soon into 10/1+ for previous winners. Lawyer has no worthwhile form and no TS to suggest he is any better than he has shown. Which means the Market has sold itself completely on "this is a Cumani 4TO set-up". Cumani's 4TO in Nurs record 2003-12 in 6 wins from 29 runs and a small profit because those wins incl 12/1, 7/1, 13/2 & 5/1 wins. But his record with SPs at 9/2 and under is 2 wind from 12 runs and a solid loss. Not sure you can suggest the Market knows much putting those two together. You could have made a profit 2003-12 backing all 4TOs in Nurs but no-one works that way. The cherrypicking and availability bias will have people chasing the Shorter SP "GAMB-L-E-S" surely? And that is prob a waste of time and money. The Pointlessness of 'Market Movers' and most racing coverage majoring on the Betting Market is impossible to overstate. Limegrove the opposite. She has a timefigure of equivalent to OR76 and her form says she has run to that level. But she seems to have settled down to OR65. Will Evans get her back to OR70+ over the winter? |
