Interesting Race set-up and a good example of how the Break can play a big Part in Run Style, etc. Widespread stalls but 4 highest stalls (leaving out widest Worthy Spirit) plus Venezia from Dw4 broke best and formed a 2 horse LdgLn with 3 behind them in 2R directly from the Break. These 5 still in place at Hf having started racing more Centre field but drifting back to nearer FrSd by half.

The 6 others who broke from stalls 1-7 plus Protected from Dw10 had slow breaks to some degree and none of jks tried to make any fwd move so they dropped in to form the 3R and those Bhd. Johann Strauss notably dropped in and ended up last and furthest over to Centre. 1.5L off the back at Hf with Joseph O'Brien looking confident, while doing his 'Human Sail' bit, but giving everything else a Head Start.

Usable Pace meant smaller changes to VTL range with only Seagull Star & Johann Strauss in +ves & 2nd & 3rd places just below 0. But even worst loser - Clodoaldo - at -8. Seagul Star making smooth progress on FrSd on group and jk able to wait until-1f to pick off Rasameel. Johann Strauss held towards back even as pace increased ins-3f. Finally asked for effort ins-2f on StndsSd of Group and took a little time to get going then HgL. Strong finish-0.5f+ but race for places already played out by then so making ground from 7-8th-1f to closing on Ldg3 late on.
