GGS from GFG on Decs. 13mm of Rain Overnight to Early AM & still Overcast. Stiff WSW Wind = Direct Headwind on the Ridge & 1/2+ HS.

Quiet Genius. Not the Goalkeeper who is a supreme athlete and can soar up to the top corner and catch the ball with one hand and then spin and throw it out 40 yards to start an attack. But a 5' 8'' goalkeeper who has had to work unbelievably hard to be able to get a fingertip to the same ball to turn it onto the crossbar and see it bounce away off the post. The result of adding up hundreds of actions and choices while getting nearly all of them right, and close to fully efficient & maximised, to make the absolute most of what you have to work with. You watch the smallish and limited L'Etacq turning hmself into a dual winner by finding a way to win this and you would think you could swap the horses and trainers in this field around from yearling days and the one Hannon had would win this. Remarkable to watch.
