Rail out after the Intersection until a cutaway before 2f out. Probably the best horses but Youcouldntmakeitup & Beau Eile getting a comfortable time and the only fillies to race on the rail with BE having to switch off the rail to try to make ground on YCMIU. BE a notch smaller than the winner. Brindle racing wide and a notch smaller again and running ok given that and a poor favourite givent he size issue. Escrick value for at least 2L better than she showed. Travelling comfortably in 2R and racing wide. But, jk indecisive inside the last 2f and spent nearly 1f looking at a gap between Brindle & Magh Meall which never opened nor closed. Ended up iiwtching out wide of Brindle in the last 1f with the leading pair gone. A bit bigger than Brindle and able to overhaul her late on. Mallymkun given a hard ride for a filly on debut after losing ground after 1f to be a bit adrift. Made some ground into the faders in the last 1.5f after having been switch over to the Far Rail. Looking smaller and middling build at most but fit FTO. Youcouldntmakeitup should be 80+ just on the circumstantials of being a rare FTO winner for TDE (only his 2nd debut win since May 15th 2011). But, not standing out for size of movement and looking an uncomplicated filly getting a Good 'Trip' on the rail. Also, a later FTO win than the better fillies who tend to do the RIPN/April gig. YCMIU at 74-5 one finding a winnable race or does she prove any better? |
