SUMMARY
Track apparently riding faster than the first meeting the previous week.

Arlecchino's Leap down to a usable OR63 on his earlier season places and with an A5. Aided by running off the pace here? Definitely aided by running the shortest distance and running the Far Rail in the HS. Meanwhile, Designate hanging right as soon as into the HS and jk Kingscote took the decision in the last 1f to just ride Designate out and let him hang over to the stands' rail. Headed later on. Dominic Cork looking like he didn't handle the bend and losing ground. But, then looking unwilling to some extent in the HS.

A lot of Stewards' involvement post race with 2 x WTRBs, a check into the winners' previous runs, a riding infringement between DC & MMirage. Added to Designate's long term hanging suggesting ALeap plugging on into a race falling apart around him.

SEnq = "The Stewards considered the apparent improvement in form of the winner, ARLECCHINO'S LEAP, ridden by Racheal Kneller and trained by Mark Usher, compared with its previous run at Brighton on 6 August 2014 where the colt finished fifth of five, beaten by 5 3/4 lengths. They noted the trainer’s explanation that the colt had appreciated being ridden with more restraint and settling further back in the field."
