SUMMARY
GGF from GFG by Early AM.

Stiff+ ESE Wind = 3/4+ Tailwind in the HS.

Positive reaction overall to Yeenaan's Breeze Video. Like a lot of those by FFS RVWinkle some niggles over how neatly made he is with a slightly narow front and gawkier neck. But a soild and deep body. Rolls along well in the Breeze and looks balanced and smooth. Efficient overall. Looks good value for €65,000 compared to a lot of the over-priced Breeze buy Videos seen this season.

Grey Sensation continuing the strong runs by Burke 2yos in April taking the record to 10 wins from 28 runs and only 6 of 28 not making the firrst 3. GS a comfortable time running prominently here and 2nd/4th horses coming from being held up behind a usable Pace.

Watching Yeenaan being hauled to the back of the field, and out of the race effectively, after an ok start brought back the usual thoughts about 'Schooling in Public'. Clearly a Grey Area with inexperieinced 2yos where to draw the line with the 'Schooling' issue. But the Rules of Racing do say each horse should be ridden in such a way as to enable the best possible placing. Many 2yos are clearly not ridden in this way and instead are working to trainer objectives about how to run a race.

But, if you thought Yeenaan had a solid profile and looked ok in PRev you were actually wasting your time going into any analysis whatsoever. The horse wasn't going to be ridden in a way that would enable the Best Placing. How about a compromise given the enforcement issues? Trainers are allowed to go in for 'Schooling In Public' but must declare it in Advance. We can then argue about whether any wins or placing attract any Prize Money, including the horse in the betting, etc. Even better, can we have 'Schooling Races' instead which are not 'real' racea as such and no betting. But, we can't carry on with multiple horses every day, including many at shorter prices, ridden in defiance of the basic rule that underlies all Racing integrity.

[Sep 12] Yeenaan making a similar effort tot he winner in the last 2f including being a bit blocked at one point. But, looking smaller & light made than Sir Chauvelin.
