S from GGS on Decs. 3mm of rain on Wed made the ground GS for Friday's meeting at the Course. Despite there being no further rain the going was changed to S from GS after race 5 on Friday. Again, despite No Rain the GStick reading is 6.8 from 7.0 on Friday.

Stiff to Medium SW Wind = 3/4 Headwind from the Left.

Jk Dwyer interviewed after Code ed's win and made a bg issue out of the ground being 'fresher' than tyhe 'ploughed field' in Centre Track witht hte others racing Cent-Stds strip. Dwyer saying he had intended to race prominently but a slower break prevented that. Instead alowed horse to get going and last at Hf then puling over to race alone closest to the stands' rail. CR the 3rd later winner, in 2 days, from the NOTT maiden he won LTO.
