GF in early am and as it had been for Friday meeting.

GStick reading from 06:30am and the same as on Fri am apparently. This never updated despite it being taken 13-14 hours before race time with a dry & warm day forecast.

=== Post Race ===

[July 20th] Race a slow pace and developing into a 2f sprint with the first 4 home pulling clear and the winner comfortable despite having to switch out and round to get his run in the last 1f. Platitude 2-3L back when the sprint started but making ground to be 1L+ back into the final 1f. Only stalling near the line. But just a medium and solid build one.

Jimenez disappointing having run well in a strong maiden FTO. A size bigger & stronger than the winner. Travelled comfortably throught he race held a bit behind the leading pair. But, not finding much forward effort in the last 2f with the head a bit up and looking upright front and not stretching out. Jk getting busy with the whip in the last 1.5f for only a minor response. What combination of green, going too firm, off attitude?

Dark Confidant seeming to do more than just be flattered by racing prominently in a slow pace race. Found enough effort to head Valko into the last 2f and stay ahead of Jimenez. Finding a bit of response when Valko headed him before 1f out. Smallest of the front three but a solid medium one of lacking length. Stalling & fading late on but seemed ok promise for 70, at least.
