SUMMARY
G from GF on Decs and fast GF Conds for the Fri meeting. Presume rain with thunderstorms passing up the country overnight. But, typically for the CoC at the course no mention of this. No mention of the GStick for most meetings and come across as a Course who think info for race followers is not required.

Stiff- 1/2 Headwind.

=== Pre Race ===

Fahey quote in his SLife piece = "Bahamian Sunshine is our first runner at Beverley in the Maiden Stakes but he's more of a long-term project. He's been a little bit of a handful, to be honest. He's done everything wrong in his two starts, cocking his jaw, and we're dropping him out and trying to teach him to be a racehorse. He's got a bad draw again here so I'll imagine he'll have to be dropped out again and we'll just be hoping to see him evidence that he is learning.". Which sounds like admitting to 'Schooling in Public' to get a good handicap mark publicly. Bang to Rights, Guv.

Breeze Video for Sandra's Secret about what you would expect for a 20k Zebedee. Longer Gather portion in Video and smaller to small and compact body length lacking range. Lacking depth in body of better sire one and the neck ok strong but a bit too long for the rest of her. Above average cadence in the first 1f of the breeze but using little reach and any pace relying on a fast stride turnover. That cadence breaking up early in the last 1f. Looking like a short runner over 5f if she is usable and lacking scope.

=== Post Race ===

Varian's 4th win since June 26th after a slow/poor start to the season with no win and no better quality. First debut win of season the previous day and of he can win with lesser ones like Compel then the stable is presumably "in form". Whatever that actually means.

[July 14th] To compound the lack of info from the Going Stick the CoC also did not report that the rail was out until a cutaway before 2f out. Extra distance covered to some extent.

Poor run from Koothrappali having got to the lead on the rail from Stall 1. Looking a bit head up and sweaty overall but not visibly free running enough to explain the poor effort. Headed soon into the last 2f and very little response. Looking a bit shallow bodied and leggy and generally out of sorts and not together. Sensational Secret showing up the poor run by Koothrappali. SSecret attending him in Lane 1 and always travelling more controlled. SSecret small but a solidly built little 'ball'. No taller than Compel as that pair dueled.

Sandra's Secret looking small in this group and 1-2 sizes smaller than the first 2 home for example. But, showing very low level promise in being able to get into the ruck atthe finish despite veering around on 3 different occasions in the first 1.5f and then running a touch free. A small trier and probably just too small but check how she runs STO if competent.
