Tailor’s row review – Pretty much an open and close case when they appeared in the paddock. Tailor’s Row although a bit green and frisky not really too worked up to prejudice his performance, simply a bigger and better model than the others on show.

Tailor’s Row – green in prelims, another big strong model in the MJ style. Picture does not reflect level of muscle definition, he looked fully fit. Ran green around the bend but simply had the stride length and scope to over-power his rivals. 82

Kreb’s Cycle – His perhaps lesser status in the Hannon yard indicated by starting at Bath. Medium model, bit downhill, not weakly made but just enough untidiness in the way he was put together to see his limitations. 77

Kodiac Khan – Bottom end of medium, bit weak at the shoulder and not the all through strength of Hyperfocus and Copper Knight although not dis-similar. Perhaps beginning to be able to see the ‘model’ preferred by the 2yo buying team at Palmers. 73

Al Hamdany – Very green, rearing up in saddling box. Lower end of medium falling between Kreb’s Cycle and Kodiac Khan. Not mentally ready to race and a bit clueless early on. Ok model. 75

Vinnievanbaileys – Interesting to contrast my take on this one at the early Newmarket meeting with what was on show today. Only looking middle to lower end of medium suggesting how small most of his rivals were on debut where he looked big. Lacking quality and also attitude beginning to be questionable. 68
