SUMMARY

Going reported as GS with GS at 6.3. The course's Going Stick readings inconsistent with one meeting Abandoned at 6.2 and so on. Going changed from GS to S after Race 1 here (this Race 2).

=== Post Race ===

Very Slow time and the fact that Orewa managed to win after running green and bein a bit adrift in last at Halfway suggesting the pace was too strong and set the race up for a Deep Closer. Jk Liam Jones riding Decadent Times but a Kingscote style ride in getting DT into the lead early and pressing on a bit too much.

Trainer Ellison has been getting better quality 2yos in recent seasons and shown some ability to get them ready early. He said that Orewa had been working very well and he expected a strong run if he handled the Ground. Ellison suggested the Yeardley 2yo Conditions race at the course might be the next target.

Orewa the 3rd runner for FSS Helmet and all 3 have now won FTO.
