Kachess review – An interesting little race with Tom D exceptionally bullish in the post race interview. I had heard that this was his RA horse some weeks ago.

Kachess – Just into medium ball of muscle, looked fit but not over trained. Good stride on her and a lot to like. Not sure how to rate what is probably a now type over only 5f. 85

Waqt – Very similar in shape and size to Kachess but just a hint more of everything, maybe simply because he is a colt. A bit less ready but had he had the same level of fitness I would not be sure of the outcome. 85

Apamurra – Different type to Kachess and Waqt, more lightly made and less muscle bulk. Smallest in the field. Has some speed but may well often get muscled out. 78

Princess Holly - Taller and lengthier than the first three shading into a medium size but a bit weakly made for her height. Maybe a few weeks off to strengthen up could help or a weaker race. Good early speed. 73

Apple Scruffs – Not as bad as one might expect, a bit overly compact but in an ok frame, almost medium. 68

Top Hatter – Short of motive power at the back. Probably the biggest in the field. Not really progressed from debut. 67
