Bin Battuta review – Not a bad paddock for Windsor although all bar Sakurajima were on the small side. Bin Battuta clearly had a fitness edge on the rest who were all undercooked to some degree. Time not special as ground was announced as good to firm, good in places. A question as to what he beat other than Sakurajima who was not ready and poorly ridden.

Bin Battuta – Possibly just into a medium category, not so much in height as in scope. Big chest cavity bodes well but the rest of him just neatly made. Colty beforehand, ran very green and outsped the rest in the last 2 furlongs. 83

Sakurajima – Another big strong Helmet colt. Not quite as well made as Bin B but made to a different scale. Strong shoulder, powerful body but tailed off a bit behind. Not looking as tuned as either Bin B or Silent Echo but not far off fit. Was free early and a bit green then around 3f out when he could have easily got to the front rank Dazzler pulled him back and lost momentum plus maybe 1.5 lengths. 79

Big Lachie – Small but solidly made, close coupled 72

Himself – Similar model to Big Lachie shading into medium. 71

Harbour Master – Small and ready type, lightly made, looked less fit than stablemate. 68

Bara Brith – Lightly made with enough height to call her lower medium. Athletic but a bit short of muscle bulk to propel herself. Not highly tuned like some Evans runners and possibility of improvement here. 68

Silent Echo – Well made chunky boy, still downhill in front, two handlers and a bit over-awed by everything. Plenty of strength, pulled hard and struggled to settle, should improve a lot. 77

Golden Guest – Small, plain, over heavy and can’t seem to shift himself 60
