Morning Suit review – Another race to highlight how ‘big’ in early season is a relative term.

Morning Suit – Not the big one I had thought at Doncaster but a perfectly acceptable medium sized one. A bit more substance all round than his rivals. Unusually Richard Kingscote did not get him away very well, if he had jumped well I imagine he would have led pillar to post quite easily. 79

Capananty Con – Almost as tall as Morning Suit but not as well made, a bit rounded at the back, not so strong in the shoulder. 74

Ahead Of Time – Quite well made but in a delicate style. Babyish in demeanour and build. Just into lower medium I think but a bit short of brute force. 77

Control Centre – On his own did not look too bad. A heavy set sort which seems to be a feature of the Dragon Pulse progeny. Looked fit enough so this may be him. 69

Zamadance – Not sure how I saw this one as tall on debut. Maybe the small groom. He is into the mediums but not by much, narrow. Plugged on and may need another run and 7f. Still looks to have potential but over-rated on debut 74

Paddleyourowncanoe – Small and ordinary. No picture. 60
