Legendary Lunch Review Legendary Lunch review Almost to script although it was not an early tussle but a better ability to keep him straight that got Legendary Lunch and Dobbs home. Legendary Lunch – Chunkily built upper medium, looking fit but not as tuned as Copper Knight. More power evident in the loins and hind quarters than anything else in the race. Deep girth. Completely professional and Pat Dobbs gave him the usual uncomplicated ride, just one tap on each side about ¾ furlong out and then keep him balanced and let him do his best. 90 Copper Knight – A high profile ride for Steve Drowne, it was probably his riding errors that made the difference. Copper Knight very highly tuned, a size and a half smaller than LL ie lower end of medium. Could probably have won this if he had kept straight. 82 Awesome Allan – Lower medium height but longer and less muscled than Copper K. Calm and relaxed until mounted on way out to course. Might find another novice to pick up with lesser opposition. 79 Dr Julius No – Maybe just under medium, fairly fit, 74 Son Castello – Biggest lad and probably above medium into the lower end of large. Looked about 85% fit, a bit green and lively in the pre-parade. Not quite as deep girthed as LL but a bigger frame. 80+ Jet Setter – Upper end of small, a clear size smaller than anything else, a bit narrow 66 Hawridge Glory – Similar height to Jet Setter but much more chunky. Very rounded behind. 67 |
