Watered. ========== Review Notes contributed by @hughonthehill (Twitter handle) ===== ==== Note :- The ratings number at the end of each review summary is an estimate of what OR they might reach rather than a reflection of how they ran on the day. See the Paddock Review Rating Section on this website for reference. Boynton review A good shape to the race for paddock review although a shame South Seas was withdrawn as his short price would have further helped the value on Boynton. It appeared that the world had decided War Decree was unbeatable before the race backed from 7/1 to evens. Boynton Under-rated on debut as was the second that day Mutawatheb. Looked in great condition. Big, his back end now seems to have caught up with his front so that he presented as a powerful athletic model. Calm in the prelims ignoring all the fuss made by others. 104 War Decree Top end of medium, overall perhaps a marginally more balanced model than Boynton without quite the same raw strength. 101 Mr Scaramanga rather embarrassed by giving him 65 on his debut. All credit to the Hannons for stepping him up to 7f. A tough small Sir Percy. 83 Cunco Looked small here next to some of the big boys. May be better over a mile but size is probably going to be an issue. Lots of back end power, stayed on but when the two principals kicked was left behind. 83 White Tower Same size as War Decree, not quite into big, very green and boisterous in the pre-parade, outclassed here. 82 Monks Stand understandable why he has been so highly tried as he has a good physique, mid to lower medium but just not quite enough of anything to set him apart. Blinkers suggest stable frustration. Perhaps they dont have that much to compare him with. 81 Bin Battuta assessment from debut about right but rating a tad high. His neat, light frame and compact size exposed here by comparison with his stable mate. 80 Sprit Of Sarwan Medium sized and ok build. 75 Hyperfocus Gleaming and fit but much too stirred up in prelims and race to give his running. 80 |
