See the Paddock Review Rating Section on this website for reference. Eqtiraan review – Even Paul Hanagan couldn’t find a way to get beat on this one. Eqtiraan – A full size bigger than anything else in the pre-parade. Tall and strong with a balanced look to him. Possibly marginally lighter around the buttocks than ideal but a fine specimen all the same. Middle range of big. Fit but not over tuned. Ran a bit free early so did well to win so convincingly 91 Rivet – Only top end of small, strongly made in a compact package. Looked fully fit and a shame he could not jump out on terms with Eqtiraan to see how he might have gone. As it was Ryan perhaps let him drift a length and a half more than was necessary of the back of the group and was then caught flat footed when the pace upped. Made most of his ground under h & h and only given one tap. Should improve greatly for this although size might be an issue. 85 Calibration – Medium, strong, fit, just not quite the quality of the first two. 80 Well Done – Not much bigger than Rivet but a chunkier one, deep chest in his compact build. Looked too fat to do himself justice and ran well under the circumstances, taking on Eqtiraan and only giving best to winner and getting caught by 2nd and 3rd in last furlong. 83 Galactic Prince – Lower medium and very ordinary type. Not fully fit. 72 Star Of the East – Tall and a fraction on the light side for his size. Constantly colty in parade and paddock. Better than he showed here. 75 |
