Grey Galleon – As thought on debut, full medium but somehow not that neatly set up. Just squeaked home here. 79

Tschierschen – Well made and very fit but just small, didn’t even look big next to the tiny Thomas Girtin. Clearly can use her good build but can’t see her moving that high in the rankings unless she grows a bit more. 80

Sheila’s Palace – Small ordinary filly, perhaps under-rated a fraction on debut. 60

Surfina – A bit of size about her but clearly not up to the rating I gave her on debut. 64

Everykyllachy – Small and plain, no scope. 58

Money In My Pocket – Not much of an athlete, lower medium, light, looks ok if a bit weak behind but has an odd tied up walk at the rear. Did stumble at a vital stage but still doubt she is much better. 70

Thomas Girtin – Like a miniature racehorse. Really quite a good looking well proportioned type but simply 2/3 of the size he needs to me. Missed break and ran green today although he looked fit. Doubt he can amount to anything as he does not appear to have speed to burn. Give him another chance to get above 60.
