Bend out 2yds which the CoC says adds 12yds to the race distance. ================= Review Notes contributed by @hughonthehill (Twitter handle) ===== ==== Note :- The ratings number at the end of each review summary is an estimate of what OR they might reach rather than a reflection of how they ran on the day. See the Paddock Review Rating Section on this website for reference. Gemina review Simply much better prepared and ridden than the others, seemed to know what to do and was perfectly placed to do it. Contrast this with Envisaging ridden by Queally who continues to demonstrate just how fortunate he was to have been in the right place at the right time with Frankel. Perhaps he was instructed to drop him in early. Still a poor race, I have compared some of these with Albernathy last years winner and there is nothing in the close to the same bracket. A race where none of them were very good looking and possibly as weak as the 7.24 second slow time suggests. Gemina not that impressive to look at, lightly made and top end of small. Knew her job and well prepared. May be better than this but I find it hard to give her more than 75 Max Zorin Not very well made and the way he finished suggests that this was a poor race. 70 Spring Jig Close to biggest and best looking but still not looking anything special. Did not show the Palmer prepared physique that many have, inclined to think he is ordinary. 70 Envisaging Thought this one had possibly the most potential. Medium sized but not fully tuned. Held up so far back after a bungled start and bumped early that he never had a chance of getting competitive, maybe that was the plan. 75 Emenem Small and light. 66 Hi There Silver 56 Crystal Dome Green. Lower medium, some potential but this was a very poor showing even for an Ed Dunlop unfancied debut. 70 I'vegotthepower Blinkered now and does not seem very willing. Slow? 54 Matthioli Another longer lighter one. Looked fit but presumably a nursery or 3yo project. 57 Elucidation Withdrawn on veterinary advice. Same sort of shape as Max Zorin, exaggerated chest cavity and belly then tailing off to an unimpressive behind. This one not fit and not looking to have much quality. Maybe a late developer but if so this is out early for SMS. Puzzling. 70 |
